Moving the brewery to Newburn
Since buying the new premises (a large section of the Ross's Preserving Works on Newburn Industrial Estate), we have started to work on the list of jobs identified. The unit purchased was originally a stripped out factory shell.
Firstly to make the building secure, new electric shutter doors have been installed. After the poor winter weather subsided we had the old roof removed and a brand new watertight roof fitted. This is now complete, and we are planning the next steps of the transformation.
Jobs include, full electrical wiring and installations, drainage works and internal building works. These are ongoing and we shall endevour to keep you up to date in this section with further progress reports.
