Welcome to the Angel Inn Hotel in the heart of historic Corbridge, Northumberland.

A Coaching Inn since 1726 (see History of The Angel), The Angel Inn is the ideal place to stay for a whole range of activities around Northumberland.

We are well known for our first class restaurant, and our real ales and fine wines in our friendly bars, and of course our occasional live music evenings.

So whether you want a friendly relaxed place to stay, a romantic meal or to entertain business associates, or a traditional pint in a Traditional English pub, you'll get a warm welcome at The Angel Inn.

The Cumberland Arms, Newcastle

The Cumberland Arms is situated off Byker Bank at the top of the Ouseburn with lovely views over the Valley.

We are a truly traditional pub est. in the 1850's with a friendly atmosphere. Whether you want to relax with a pint and a book from our Bring one Borrow one Library, listen or join one of the many sessions or enjoy some quality live music in our upstairs room there is something for everyone.

It is a home from home with tables outside to relax in the summer sun to cozy open fires to curl up by in the winter.

John Bull Inn, Alwnick

Small traditional freehouse in the historical town of Alnwick, Northumberland. The pub is situated in Howick Street in an area built just outside of the original town walls sometime around 1830. Records show the building as having become a beer house shortly after construction and so it has remained until the present day. Today this 'back street boozer' is developing an ever increasing reputation as offering a warm welcome to anyone wishing to sample one of the Real Ales and/or Malt Whiskies. Camra Northumberland Pub of the Year, Runner-Up 2003 to 2005, North Northumberland Pub of the Year 2006.

The Olde Ship, Seahouses

Nautically themed and fully residential, THE OLDE SHIP sits boldly above the tiny fishing harbour of Seahouses. Historic as it is with its strong local maritime connections, The Ship continues to maintain its high traditional standards in the face of changing modern hotel trends.

The main saloon bar has tremendous character lit by stained glass windows and in winter by the welcoming glow of an open fire. Adjoining the main bar - is another - snug, low beamed,"The Cabin". The pub is a veritable sea museum -The scrubbed wooden foor is constructed from pine ships decking, while the walls are festooned with a wide variety of nautical artifacts, model fishing boats and a replica of Seahouses' lifeboat, The 'Grace Darling'. Figure heads, diving helmets, pulling oars, fish baskets, branding irons, Lamps, all add to the unique 'feel' of circumstances that was only too prevalent many years ago.

The Newcastle Arms

A very warm welcome is extended to all patrons, visitors and guests from the management and staff of this multi-award winning real ale house. Under the tenancy of experienced publican Neil Amos since April 2005, we have endeavoured to transform this traditional and historic watering hole back to its original status as one of Tyneside's premier cask ale outlets.

In recognition of our achievements, CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) has awarded us their much-coveted "Pub Of The Year" accolade for the entire region of Tyneside & Northumberland for the last two years running 2006 & 2007.
