Double Gold Winners at SIBA North-East Awards

Hadrian Border Brewery has taken the top prize in two categories at the SIBA North-East Awards 2019, plus a bronze award for the much loved Tyne Pilsner which is part of the Hadrian Border Lager Project.

Gold was claimed for local favourites Grainger Ale in the 'British Premium Bitter (4.5% to 6.4%) ' category and Ouseburn Porter in the 'British Dark Beers (4.5% to 6.4%)', both in bottle.

Both of the gold place beers will travel down to Liverpool in March next year for BeerX 2020 and will be entered into the national competition, going head-to-head with other regional winners in the same categories.

Everyone here at the brewery would like to thank the judges who voted, our customers who continue to push our beer and to our drinkers, the whole reason we're in this game.

Cheers!
