Beer enthusiasts will try these beers for interest, taste and possibly education but may not necessarily like or want another of, that’s ok! perfect alternatives to supplement our core range. We brew these on our little kit. Custom made to our own design, this baby has the flexibility to brew 1-5 barrels.
These beers may be traditionally brewed British beers like Olde English Ales, Blondes, Pales Ales, English Milds, Scottish lights, 70 80 90 shillings, and Irish Stouts with an aim to giving the drinker a beer reproduced and tasting like it did following the industrial revolution and the birth of commercial brewing.
Then there’s Oktoberfests, Alts, Saisons, Kolsch, Pilsner, Bocks, Helles, American Browns, Reds, Belgian and German Wheats again all brewed traditionally according to flavour profiles with specialist yeasts and malts but not regularly brewed by UK breweries.
There will also be one-dimensional brews, predominantly flavoured with single variety hops and malts that help identify flavours. And the experimental Bandwagons come with whatever twist our band of brewers wish to brew. Juniper, Chili, Smoked, Sweet, Sour, Fruit, Spice, Coffee, Caramel, Chocolate......

A light and refreshing pale Saison typical of the traditional French farmhouse style. Gentle bitterness with a hint of wheat and spice give way to a crisp estery finish. Expect light floral hop notes and a satisfied palate.
West Coast Brown
A deep and malty brown ale with light nutty hints and a rich caramel overtone, a 4.5%abv makes this a great cold day ale. Features the classic English Fuggles and Pilgrim hops with a gentle west coast twang from the American Cascade and Citra.
Is it a stout? is it a porter? no its a black IPA! Light and hoppy by taste, dark and dangerous by sight. This black IPA delivers a full bodied lip smacking Cascade/Simcoe/Summit hop punch that's more in line with its lighter coloured cousins over the backdrop of a rich and intense full malt bass line. A cheeky and beguiling little number well worth investigating.
In the past Coopers were given their beer allowance as a mix of Stout and Porter. The idea was that Stout being a lot stronger in the past didn’t want to be drunk before the Porter.

A light golden single hopped ale featuring the renowned American Citra hop. Gentle bitterness gives way to the lingering mellow tropical tones of mango and peach with a satisfying full bodied finish.
The Hokey Pokey
A light orange/golden ale with a medium bitterness and solid grapefruit citrus Summit hop finish. A beguilingly easy drinking yet 'pokey' ale for the festive season......knees bend arm stretch rah rah rah!
Brewed and crafted as a lager, hopped as an ale utilizing Citra, Summit, Rakau and Simcoe for a tropical hop forward finish.
A rich, sweet, full-bodied Porter delivering hints of chocolate and coffee with a full and rounded plum fruit finish.
This rich dark beer has an assertive yet rounded smokey-ness set against the backdrop of a complex malt profile and gentle Hersbrucker hop character. A smooth and satisfying winter ale that would pair well with a rich tangy cheddar.
STOUT, Tells it like it is, no messing about. Robust and smooth with light hints of roast coffee and a touch of rye crystal spice, this beer is a fine example of its style.
This pale coloured thirst-quencher is a supercharged version of our Tyneside Blonde. We've loaded up on Cascade and Simcoe hops post boil to give this beer some extra punch!
Very light malt tones, give way to the floral tropical notes of mango and passion fruit from the Rakau hop, with additions at various stages throughout, and dry hopped for good measure. Light amber in colour.
This Super Pale Ale is brewed using Extra pale ale malt and wheat malt alongside the refreshing hops topaz and cascade. an ideal summer drink!

Named after its predominant hop, New Zealand's Motueka, this twangy deep golden ale delivers a zesty tropical hop punch along side a medium bitterness that gives way to a smooth full bodied finish.
Spelt Herfeweizen is a pale straw coloured Bavarian style wheat beer. A lightly, cloudy and refreshing ale for the spring created utilising heritage Spelt malt, Bavarian yeast and German hops . Expect gentle, light floral hop tones along side the classic Heferweizen twang.
Chocolate Cherry Baltic Stout
This robust and full bodied stout, brewed with a lager yeast for a cleaner finish, is fitted out with the classic full roast flavours associated with the style. Light roast overtones with hints of coffee give way to a chocolatey finish with gentle and subtle hints of cherry.
60 Shilling is a beguiling deep amber, light abv table ale. Light in bitterness, light in strength but full in body and flavour. This is a quaffable ale that goes down a treat.
A German brown ale utilising chocolate malt and toasted wheat alongside a Bavarian ale yeast to impart malty hints of chocolate and notes of banana
A full bodied and robust amber beer. Utilising Sovereign, the classic English hop, to provide depth and balance alongside New Zealand's Motueka for floral hints of lemon and lime for a satisfying citrus finish.
A robust and malty dark amber ale utilising the Columbus hop to provide a gentle hint of liquorice and spice emphasised by crystal rye malt.
