We've journeyed across the border with this one to bring you a traditional 80/- (that's shilling to those younger readers) Scottish Ale.

Pump clip for 80/- Chillin'

The beer is a combination of dark Munich crystal and low colour chocolate malts give this traditional Scottish brew great body considering its strength. Caramel and treacle dominate in aroma and taste, but the sweetness is cut away by the bitter choc malt and Fuggles hops. This is a true example of a traditional 80 shilling, as was only available over the border when the boss decided proper beer was her tipple of choice.
