Our newest special is a nod to the the classic 1978 musical hit film Grease. Firstly, we feel we should mention that the name and pump clip was designed before the incredibly sad passing of Olivia Newton John earlier this month. In light of this, we have donated £100 from the sales of this beer to Breast Cancer Support.
The name is of course a play on the fictitious high school, Rydell High, where Danny and Sandy both attend, with artwork featuring the T-Birds' 1948 Ford De Luxe convertible known as 'Greased Lightning'.
The beer is a red coloured ale brewed with rye malt to deliver caramel, slightly spicy, and earthy notes. Fuggles, Goldings, and Centennial hops Go Together like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong to give a crisp herbal aroma, with burnt orange, smooth marmalade and floral flavours. A highly refreshing beer for those Summer... NIII-IIIGHTS!
